Description Microshield 2 is a procedural hand wash. Procedural hand washing refers to the use of topical anti-microbials prior to invasive and aseptic techniques. It involves both the mechanical removal and chemical inhibition (or destruction) of both transient and resident flora. This procedure would be used during an outbreak situation, before aseptic procedures and following contact with blood and body fluids. Ingredients: Active ingredient Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) 2%.
